Anita Lai
Anita was born and raised in Chengdu. The daughter of a hot pot mogul, the mala flavors of the city run deep in her veins. She did her bachelors degree in New York State, spending a semester in Budapest, and then completed her masters in St. Andrews Scotland. She returned to Chengdu with a great passion and energy for her hometown, and a desire to share that with the outside world. Anita helps design experiences, manages events and partnerships, and keeps us all on track. She also loves showing people the city where she grew up.

Pen Per
Pen Per (盆盆儿) is as local as they come. Born in the countryside and raised in the city it would be an understatement to say he loves food. Food is the lens with which he perceives the world – it’s his goal, his purpose, his being. He loves a good nap and a good meal and spends his free time scouring the city for ‘the real street eats’.
